We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Full-Time Paraprofessional to provide support to students and teachers in a variety of educational settings at a local school in Shasta Lake, CA. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children.

As a paraprofessional, you will assist classroom teachers with daily instruction and classroom management, work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts, and provide behavioral and emotional support to students when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress and development
  • Help prepare instructional materials and classroom activities
  • Assist students with diverse learning needs, including those with special education requirements
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and team meetings

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • An associates degree or higher, or 48 college credits (preferred)
  • Previous experience working with children, especially in educational or support roles, is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
