We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer (On-Call) to join our team at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all property areas by patrolling the premises and monitoring surveillance systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will assist guests with access to their rooms, respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and prepare incident reports while maintaining confidentiality.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Patrol all areas of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.">
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system.">
  • Assist guests with room access and provide exceptional customer service.">
  • Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.">
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify potential risks.">
  • Prepare incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.">
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents.">
  • Defuse guest/employee disturbances and resolve safety hazards.">

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.">
  • No prior experience is necessary, but a background in law enforcement or security would be advantageous.">
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • The ability to think critically and make sound judgments.">
  • A strong sense of integrity and professionalism.">
  • A valid driver's license (if applicable).">
