Intelligent Automation Staff Engineer Process Development Position

Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligent Automation Staff Engineer Process Development to join our team at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing automated systems for all aspects of product development lifecycle, including design, validation, manufacturing, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and maintainable applications using modern tools and frameworks
- Implement software solutions for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
- Apply concepts and principles beyond standard practices
- Lead teams by providing advice and guidance to more junior team members
- Contribute to technical decisions within the project team
- Independently determine and deliver against project priorities
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience working in medical device industry preferred
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language
- Experience with robotics, automation equipment, and PLCs
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
