Intelligent Automation Staff Engineer Process Development Position

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligent Automation Staff Engineer Process Development to join our team at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing automated systems for all aspects of product development lifecycle, including design, validation, manufacturing, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable and maintainable applications using modern tools and frameworks
  • Implement software solutions for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
  • Apply concepts and principles beyond standard practices
  • Lead teams by providing advice and guidance to more junior team members
  • Contribute to technical decisions within the project team
  • Independently determine and deliver against project priorities
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience working in medical device industry preferred
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming language
  • Experience with robotics, automation equipment, and PLCs
  • Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
