Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist Job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication and language development in an online learning environment.

About the Position

This is a full-time 1099 position, where you will work remotely, serving students in Oregon. As a Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Conducting virtual assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success.
  • Providing virtual therapy sessions to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

You will maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and be responsible for your caseload's effective management.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Oregon licensure and certification.

Additionally, you should be comfortable with virtual therapy platforms and technology, possess strong communication and collaboration skills, and be able to work independently.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience. You will also have access to VocoVision's Teletherapy Toolkit and robust technical support to ensure a smooth transition to our teletherapy platform.
