Job Summary

The Sales and Service Manager at 24 Hour Fitness is responsible for delivering an exceptional sales and service experience to members and guests. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team of sales and service experts to achieve sales revenue goals and provide a best-in-class member experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and develop sales and service team members to provide a full range of product and service offerings tailored to meet members' individual needs.
  • Lead by example to provide a clean, friendly, and well-maintained club environment that meets member expectations.
  • Partner with the General Manager to develop business plans and review weekly sales numbers and club statistics to identify potential revenue gaps and modify team execution strategy as necessary.
  • Establish monthly, weekly, and daily sales goals for all sales and service team members and ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and execute local club marketing activities to generate new business and maintain current knowledge and awareness of marketing campaigns to effectively communicate to members and prospective members.
  • Ensure new members are properly onboarded with a plan to help achieve their intended health and wellness goals.

Requirements

  • Positive and productive leadership skills, including motivating, coaching, and communicating with diverse groups.
  • Strong member-centric focus and ability to engage with members in person.
  • Ability to respond professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills to execute and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior management experience in service sales industry leading 4-10 employees.
  • 1-2 years of experience in service sales.
  • Fitness industry experience.

Benefits and Compensation

24 Hour Fitness offers benefit programs designed to meet the diverse needs of all team members, including health coverage, as well as company-paid benefits such as group life and accident insurance. Team members may also accrue vacation hours and receive a complimentary membership.

Compensation Summary

All employees receive a free club membership, employee assistance program, basic group life and AD&D insurance, and 401k savings and investment plan. Employees working an average of 30 hours or more per week also receive medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, and sickness benefits.
