About the Role

As a Chief Technology Strategist - Enterprise Architecture at Highmark Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology landscape. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in enterprise architecture to drive strategic decision-making and technological innovation.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and solution delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Highmark Health's technology needs and future-state vision.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  3. Design and implement effective architecture solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.
  4. Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  5. Provide thought leadership on technology trends, innovations, and architectural patterns, ensuring Highmark Health remains at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in an enterprise environment, with a focus on technology leadership and solution delivery.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and solution delivery, including system software, application software, and databases.
  • Proven track record of driving technology strategy and innovation, with a focus on business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Familiarity with modeling languages (e.g., C4, ArchiMate, BPMN, DFD, UML) and enterprise architecture modeling tools (e.g., BiZZdesign, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Planview EA).
