Job Summary

The Clinical Support Assistant functions in a team-based environment and performs duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support. Under the license of a provider, the Clinical Support Assistant functions when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.

Key Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
  • License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility. Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire required. An NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
  • Experience: Relevant experience as a Clinical Support Assistant preferred.
