Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Account Executive to join our team at LHC Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for coordinating the referral of patients to home health services, ensuring that patient choice is honored.

In this role, you will evaluate patients' suitability for home health, receive referrals from physicians and facilities, and communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

You will also facilitate the ordering of DME equipment, communicate with the home health agency regarding physician orders, and provide educational in-services to physicians and nurses.

As a Clinical Account Executive, you will meet personal performance goals, participate in sales calls and company in-services, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient referrals to home health services
  • Evaluate patients' suitability for home health
  • Receive referrals from physicians and facilities
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
  • Facilitate ordering of DME equipment
  • Communicate with home health agency regarding physician orders

Requirements
  • Formalized clinical training from an accredited institution
  • Licensed in the state
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation

  • Strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Outlook and CRM software
