Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions with accuracy and compassion.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Communication:
    • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to foster a collaborative approach to healthcare.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information to patients and families.
    • Encourage open communication and transparency throughout the patient care process.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of care.
    • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans promptly and accurately.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations to optimize reimbursement and minimize errors.
  • Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
    • Perform procedures as needed, always prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and consultation.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to ensure comprehensive care planning.
    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Quality Improvement:
    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to drive continuous learning and growth.
    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety, always prioritizing evidence-based practice.
  • Compliance:
    • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice to maintain the highest level of professionalism.
    • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements to ensure ongoing adherence.
    • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices through ongoing education and training.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines to inform best practice.

Qualifications
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Medicine.
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible status.

Salary Range$155.74-$155.75 per hour
