Overview

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Intensive Care Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Salary

We offer an estimated salary of $115-$140 per hour, with local bill rates applying within 50 miles. This is a competitive hourly rate that reflects the skills and experience required for this role.

Job Description

This is a surgical and cath lab population, requiring a unique blend of technical skills and clinical knowledge. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with chest tubes, epicardial wires, and sheath/radial band management.

The successful candidate will also have familiarity with cardiac drips, such as Amiodarone, NTG, and Cardizem. In addition, they must be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a RN ratio of 4:1 on days and 4-5:1 on nights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience
  • Experience with chest tubes, epicardial wires, and sheath/radial band management
  • Familiarity with cardiac drips, including Amiodarone, NTG, and Cardizem
