Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package also includes a generous PTO policy, 10 paid holidays per year, medical plans, dental plans, vision plans, a 403(b) retirement plan, and more.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Therapist Navigation and Support Specialist to join our team at La Frontera Center Inc. As a key member of our crisis response team, you will provide direct service crisis de-escalation and counseling to individuals using a Systems based approach to interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct in-home and community-based crisis counseling and follow-up services as assigned.
  • Assess clients' needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide psychotherapy, assessments, transportation services, and referral services to individuals in Maricopa County.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, including phone documentation, intake documentation, endangerment triaging, treatment planning, referral triaging, risk planning, termination documentation, interagency reports, and follow-up documentation.
  • Work independently and responsibly, participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment and prevention programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a related Behavior Health field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Therapist.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
  • Trauma-informed, clear and effective communication skills, strong customer service, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License, with no major infractions in the past three years.
