Salary Information: We offer a competitive salary in the range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

**Job Description:** As an R&D Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in our product development efforts, leading projects from concept to production. You'll leverage your expertise to design and prototype disposable medical devices, manage project timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop disposable medical devices using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
  • Prototype catheters and catheter-based delivery systems in a hands-on laboratory environment.
  • Lead product development efforts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer objectives.
  • Prepare and support product development plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets.
  • Develop and validate in-vitro and in-vivo testing methods for medical devices.
  • Collaborate with vendors to source materials, components, and processes.
  • Provide engineering support for manufacturing, including validation plans and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including FMEA, test results, and drawings.
  • Act as a technical leader, advising and mentoring team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years in medical device engineering, with hands-on disposable device development experience.
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.
  • Project management experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams to project success.
