At Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg Tele team as a Clinical Staff Nurse. This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centered care.

About the Role

This position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs, maintain safety standards, and support the hospital's mission and strategic plan. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care, and will be responsible for organizing, planning, directing, coordinating, and providing individualized patient/family-centered care based on the Watson Model of Care.

About the Job
  • Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process as a problem-solving model
  • Prioritize and organize patient care to ensure follow-through with planned care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues using the SBAR method
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, including assessment, interdisciplinary plan of care, implementation, evaluation, and the Watson Model of Care

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team, and a commitment to meeting the learning needs of patients and families.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care
  • Current California Nursing license
  • Basic EKG Competence
  • Certification in Progressive Critical Care Nursing or Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
