Soccer Coach

Hemlock Public School District seeks a skilled and experienced coach to lead our varsity girls' soccer team.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a coach who can develop and implement effective strategies to improve individual and team play. The successful candidate will be able to relate to and instruct student athletes in large groups, small groups, and individualized settings. They will also be responsible for working cooperatively with administration and staff, encouraging student participation in the sport, and directing all assistant coaches.

• Successful coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
• HPSD certified professional educators desired but not required.
• Alternate qualifications may be considered.

• Background that includes a high level of soccer knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in coaching.
• Experience working as part of a collaborative team.

A successful candidate will possess strong organizational, motivational, discipline, and fundamental teaching skills. They will also be able to direct, construct a program, and oversee the program as a whole. Additionally, they will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure student success and a positive school climate.
