Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist I to join our team at Arkansas Electric. As a key member of our front office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing incoming calls, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet visitors, vendors, employees, applicants, and customers in a pleasant and welcoming manner, providing assistance as needed.
  • Communication: Answer incoming telephone calls, forward calls to the proper division, department, or person, and take messages for those not available.
  • Logistics: Maintain a running log of each guest, badge issued, and time of arrival and departure to ensure the safety of the Cooperatives.
  • Training and Development: Provide training on receptionist job functions and duties to have relief, as necessary.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR division, including data entry, project management, and employee social event execution.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Skills: Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, excellent verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Associates Degree, Basic Microsoft Office certification in Word and Excel
