About the Role:
This 13-week contract requires a skilled nurse with experience in medical surgery, capable of delivering high-quality patient care and mentoring junior staff members. With a guaranteed 36-hour workweek, you will have ample time to focus on your responsibilities and contribute to the success of the unit. A block schedule may be available, allowing for greater flexibility in your work arrangements.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical surgery environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in medical surgery.
- Current licensure as a RN in the state of New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- EPIC experience essential for charting and documentation requirements.
