About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team at Kahm Center for Eating Disorders in Burlington, VT.

As a key member of our treatment center, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care for individuals battling eating disorders, helping them on their journey to recovery.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
  • Facilitate group sessions
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients
  • Assist with meal support and nutritional counseling
  • Perform metabolic/body composition analysis
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a mental health or healthcare setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Understanding of eating disorders and their impact on individuals
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Demonstrates and consistently strives to maintain excellence in all mental health counselor job responsibilities
