Job Title: Account Manager, Business Partnerships

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Business Partnerships team at WBUR, Boston's NPR. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic advertising and sponsorship partnerships with clients and advertising agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute a sales pipeline plan with short, mid-range, and long-term account targets.
  • Manage and proactively sell to direct clients as well as advertising agencies.
  • Meet monthly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan through a deep understanding of WBUR's product portfolio and available ad inventory.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent/relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role - media experience is valued.
  • Prior demonstrated prospecting experience through cold calling, networking, and in-person events.
