Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. in Point Comfort, Texas.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves reviewing piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), troubleshooting polyvinyl chloride (PVC) production problems, and developing action plans to solve them. You will also be responsible for analyzing PVC latex particle size distribution to improve PVC plastisol viscosity and fluidity, developing emulsion processes to optimize the PVC production rate and reduce costs, designing the vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) dryer and the VCM circulation system, and conducting process safety and hazard analysis.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 6 months of related work experience or relevant academic coursework
Benefits
