Licensed Practical Nurse

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Medication Care Manager. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Review and update medication lists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure medication carts are stocked and organized.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director (RCD) and Wellness Nurse to ensure medication updates are received and implemented.
- Document and report any medication-related incidents or concerns to the RCD or Wellness Nurse.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the RCD.
- Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in training and education programs to maintain certification and licensure.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
