Acute Care Travel Nurse Wanted for Med Surg Role in Madison, SD

We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a travel nurse in a Med-Surg setting at a reputable healthcare facility in Madison, South Dakota.

As a travel nurse with Vibra Travels, you will have the opportunity to work with one recruiter from start to finish, ensuring a seamless assignment experience. You will also have access to local and non-local positions, competitive hourly rates, and a tax-free stipend (if applicable). Additionally, you will receive no pay cuts mid-contract, a referral bonus (up to $1000 per referral), license reimbursement if traveling to a new state, and your pick of assignments at facilities we own and operate nationwide or partner facilities.
Qualifications & Skills- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required.
- Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP).
- A minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required.
- A current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment is required.
Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred, and the ability to project a professional image is essential. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills, and the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant are also desirable. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions, freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace, and vaccination against COVID-19 (or approved exemption) are also required.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is approximately $$124,000 - $144,000 per year, based on a 12-hour shift schedule and 36 hours per week. This estimate includes a tax-free stipend amount that will be determined upon confirmation of the contract.
