Pharmacist PRN Position

Job Summary:
USMD is seeking a skilled Pharmacist PRN to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill and dispense medication orders, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Act as a resource for patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information.
- Plan and organize the work schedule of supportive personnel and pharmacists, as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of medication usage and distribution.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
- Advanced degree or enrollment in an advanced degree program preferred.
- IV Certification required.
- One to three years of experience as a registered pharmacist in a hospital setting, preferred.
