Nutrition Center Technician Role

As a Nutrition Center Technician at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to patients. Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will collaborate with pediatric dietitians to prepare and deliver infant and pediatric formula, and breast milk preparations. Your attention to detail and commitment to sanitary regulations will ensure the highest quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver infant and pediatric formula, and breast milk preparations
  • Collaborate with pediatric dietitians to provide nutritional care to patients
  • Ensure adherence to sanitary regulations and standards established by regulating agencies
  • Participate in peer reviews, self-assessment, and continuing education to maintain competency
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field
  • Registration with the American Dietetic Association as a dietetic technician or registration eligible
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
