Job Summary

The 36th Judicial District Juvenile Probation is seeking a highly skilled Juvenile Supervision Officer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing custodial care and supervision to juveniles in our detention center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for juveniles in our care
  • Supervise and monitor juveniles to ensure their well-being and safety
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each juvenile
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and of good moral character
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of college credit in Criminal Justice, social work, Psychology, or related field, or 1 year of experience working with emotionally disturbed or violent children
  • Valid Texas Driver's license and High School diploma or GED
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug testing
