Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DC Custodian to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties in all areas of the distribution center, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash containers.
  • Operate floor scrubbing equipment and cardboard baler.
  • Maintain all stations containing janitorial equipment, such as brooms, dust mops, wet mops, and mop buckets.
  • Assist the maintenance team in maintaining and organizing the tote repair area.
  • Maintain supplies of paper products and hand cleaner in all restrooms and break room areas.
  • Assist the maintenance department in maintaining building grounds, including snow removal, lawn mowing, and trash collection.
  • Maintain safety standards while operating equipment and identify unsafe practices and situations.
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in custodial duties in a building, hotel, or distribution center.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
  • Desired: High school diploma or equivalent (GED), basic knowledge of grounds keeping, and fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
