An exciting opportunity is available at International Flavors & Fragrances, a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition. We are seeking a skilled E&I Technician III to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the maintenance and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring 100% compliance with EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards. They will also identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and personal development, as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance.
- Ensuring the safe completion of life-critical activities in production areas, including the development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT).
- Performing maintenance and repair of site's electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Performing work order tasks and supporting work order flow through MMIS.
- Performing troubleshooting of site's electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Supporting the scoping and planning of work orders.
- Following parts procurement procedures.
- Supporting the updating and documentation of equipment BOMs and PMs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or High school equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills.

- Journeys man or Preferably Master Electrician.
- Must be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking.
- Manufacturing environment experience.
- Chemical manufacturing experience.
