Job Title: Recovery Coach

About the Role:
As a Recovery Coach at Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorder and mental health issues. Our organization is dedicated to providing integrated healthcare services, including substance use disorder, mental health, HIV/AIDS, housing, and primary medical care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide peer recovery support services to patients enrolled in our programs
  • Facilitate educational groups, coaching, engagement, transportation, supervision, patient advocacy, and coordination of needed patient services
  • Encourage patient engagement and self-management to promote wellness and recovery
  • Educate and equip patients with tools or strategies to more effectively cope, problem solve, and manage their behavioral health needs

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or above
  • Class C License or Class B license (if required by job assignment)
  • Computer literate
  • Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification (PSSC)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in behavioral healthcare and/or providing peer support services
