Overview:
Ventura Foods, a leading innovator in food solutions for the foodservice and retail industries, seeks an experienced Strategic Business Solutions Architect to drive business growth through technological innovation. This role involves leveraging expertise in process analysis, system design, and project management to deliver high-impact projects that enhance operational efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits:
Ventura Foods offers a competitive salary range of $100,665 - $130,537 for this position, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage, profit sharing, 401(k) matching, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays. Additionally, the company provides employee appreciation events and access to employee assistance programs.

About the Role:
The Strategic Business Solutions Architect will be responsible for shaping business demands, conducting process analysis, eliciting complex business requirements, ensuring quality assurance, facilitating stakeholder communication, mentoring and training team members, and providing additional support as needed. This role requires extensive experience in process improvement methodologies, software platform implementations, and data systems. The ideal candidate will have direct participation in multiple software platform implementations, prior experience with process improvement methodologies and tools, and a strong understanding of data systems, databases, software development life cycles, and information and application architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shape Demand: Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business opportunities, cultivate and refine ideas into actionable demands, and develop comprehensive business cases.
  • Process Analysis: Conduct detailed assessments of current business processes using flowcharts and analytical tools to document and identify gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Business Requirements: Lead the elicitation and documentation of complex, cross-functional business requirements for corporate and strategic priority initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure business requirements are met by partnering with the QA team in blackbox testing and leading UAT efforts, including test strategy, planning, execution, and issue resolution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communications between business partners, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Mentoring and Training: Guide less experienced team members and work with Training and Development to create effective training media and training plans for end users of solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of progressively increasing responsibility as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent business experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive involvement in process analysis, process design and documentation, and involvement in complex large-scale and high-impact projects/platform implementations that add significant business value. Additionally, the candidate should have commercial, R&D, marketing, sales, or revenue manager industry experience and be fluent in desktop, project management, process flow charting tools.
