Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Acquisition Specialist to join our team at MHI. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely acquisition of parts and materials needed to service customer aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and forecast part and material requirements to meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate acquisition with internal and external suppliers and materials personnel.
  • Prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.

Requirements:

  • Typically, 3 years of experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting.
  • Typically, 1-year experience in inventory planning and procurement.
  • Training or equivalent experience with an MRP system.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Experience with Excel.
