Galavan Driver

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Galavan Driver to join our team. As a Galavan Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting seniors and individuals with disabilities to their destinations. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that requires a valid Montana Class D driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Operate a para-transit bus in a safe and prudent manner, ensuring the safety of all passengers and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Pick up and deliver riders as per dispatcher instruction, ensuring timely and efficient transportation services.
• Assist riders with their needs, such as getting on and off the bus, and ensuring they are properly secured with restraints.
• Complete daily inspections and maintenance of the bus, including pre-trip checks, fueling, and cleaning.
• Perform various record-keeping duties, such as tallying riders and maintaining mileage logs.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience driving a commercial passenger vehicle preferred.
• Valid Montana Class D driver's license and a clean driving record required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

This position requires frequent operation of a motor vehicle under various weather conditions and occasional exposure to confused, hostile, or angry customers or the public. The incumbent must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time and/or deadline pressures.
