Residential Aide: New Life Center

At Community Health Resources, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for our residents and staff. As a Residential Aide at our New Life Center, you will play a vital role in helping women with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders achieve a healthy and safe lifestyle.
The New Life Center is a residential substance abuse treatment program designed to accommodate women with infants, toddlers under the age of 4, and/or expectant mothers. Our program focuses on promoting a healthy parental bond and developing effective parenting skills. As a Residential Aide, you will work closely with our residents to provide support and guidance in areas such as nutrition and healthy living, meal preparation, hygiene, laundry, banking and budgeting, and basic home care skills.
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team. As a Residential Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment, monitoring medications, and assisting with administrative tasks. You will also have the opportunity to teach and facilitate educational and skill-building groups, as well as provide one-to-one interventions as directed by the treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents
- Monitor medications and assist with medication administration
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records
- Teach and facilitate educational and skill-building groups
- Provide one-to-one interventions as directed by the treatment plan
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associates degree or 2 years of college with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma (GED) with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Experience in Human Services with responsible work history
- Valid driver's license required with good driving record
- CPR & First Aid Certification required OR must obtain within 90 days of employment
