Software Development Engineer, Seller Fees

As a Software Development Engineer on WW Fees Seller Experience team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale software systems. You will work closely with UX designers, product owners, and other engineering team members to define the product and drive best practices. You will also provide technical expertise to the team, mentor other engineers, and drive continuous improvements in engineering and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work directly with stakeholders and peers to brainstorm, design, prototype, build, test, and iterate on new ideas to build new services and products.
2. Work with the latest technologies and tools to shape the vision of your tech stack and engineer systems for Amazon Scale.
3. Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
4. Deep-dive into client or server systems to optimize for performance, maintainability, scalability, extensibility as needed.
5. Learn from others and help grow those in your team.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
