Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Site Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Ventura, California. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and inspection, with experience in transportation, water-wastewater, and public works projects. Pipeline inspection experience is highly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Implement quality assurance management procedures to ensure compliance with contract documents and industry regulations
  • Coordinate sampling and testing of construction materials
  • Assist Resident Engineer with coordination of construction staking and surveying
  • Perform grade checks and construction layout verification
  • Calculate and document construction item quantities
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and other construction documents
  • Monitor and document all construction equipment, personnel, and activities
Requirements
  • 4+ years progressively responsible experience in construction management and inspection of Public Works or Industrial facilities
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Transportation, earthwork, and water-wastewater construction experience (preferred)
  • Pipeline inspection experience (highly preferred)
  • Knowledge of industry safety practices and OSHA safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
