Laundry Attendant

At Residence Inn Waldorf, we are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Attendant - Linen Specialist to join our housekeeping team. As a key member of our hotel's operations, you will be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for our guests. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

• Linen Processing: Collect, transport, sort, weigh, load, and unload linens from washers, dryers, and chutes, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Laundry Operations: Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, clean laundry machinery, and perform tasks as directed by management.
• Quality Control: Ensure linens are clean, pressed, and folded to hotel standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping staff to meet linen demands and maintain a smooth operation.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, with preference for experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Physical Abilities: Must be able to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weights between 50-400lbs and occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weights between 25-150lbs.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and maintain composure in stressful situations.

• Competitive Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
