Job Summary

The Sepsis Coordinator is a key member of the healthcare team responsible for providing multidisciplinary care to septic patients. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with medical and hospital staff to develop and implement sepsis care protocols.
  • Conduct regular rounds on sepsis patients to evaluate treatment plans and ensure compliance with best practice guidelines.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in sepsis care.
  • Develop and implement education programs for medical and clinical staff to enhance sepsis knowledge and skills.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address sepsis-related quality and safety issues.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (BSN/MSN or APN preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in emergency or critical care, with a focus on quality and safety.
