Job Summary

MedStar Health is seeking a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will have professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy, with excellent customer service skills and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides evaluation services, including review of pertinent historical information, performance of specific assessments, and determination of recommendations and documentation of results.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient presentation, and evolving healthcare environment.
  • Completes discharge planning and follow-up care, accurately and timely documenting and charging for patient care activities.
  • Demonstrates effective time management, meets productivity expectations, and manages an accurate schedule.
  • Takes initiative in pursuing continuing education for professional growth and competency, serving as a clinical instructor and assisting with orientation and mentoring of inexperienced staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  • Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required.
  • American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
Compensation

This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041.
