University of Minnesota Physicians is a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing medical knowledge. We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our team as an Assistant Professor Rank.
About the Position
We are looking for a board-certified/eligible Interventional Cardiologist to support the growth and expertise of interventional cardiology clinical care, teaching, and research. The successful candidate will become a member of our nationally and internationally recognized Interventional Cardiology Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and management of interventional cardiology and ECMO population
- Participate in clinical, translational, and database-related research in the field of interventional cardiology
- Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Division, Lillehei Heart Institute, and Minnesota Mobile Resuscitation Consortium leadership to expand the University's clinical and academic missions
- Develop and implement innovative clinical care solutions and research projects
About the Division
The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota is recognized for its leadership and innovation in the treatment of cardiovascular disease. Our clinical faculty provide outstanding, innovative, and compassionate care, while our clinical and basic science research programs provide the backbone of innovative clinical-care solutions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and cardiology fellowship training program
- Board certified with the ABMS in Cardiology and board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Proven knowledge and success in clinical research skills and experience in supporting medicine post-graduate fellowship training
