Operating Room Circulator

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Circulator to join our team at Mia Aesthetics.
About the RoleThe Operating Room Circulator plays a vital role in the direct and indirect provision of patient care within the operating room environment. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the surgical and clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Preparation and Maintenance
Prepare the surgery suites by gathering, organizing, and preparing surgical supplies and equipment for procedures. Maintain inventory levels and notify relevant personnel when supplies are needed.
Patient Care and SupportMonitor patient progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the surgical and clinical teams to ensure coordinated care and interventions.
Equipment Operation and SafetyOperate medical equipment according to established policies and standards, seeking assistance as needed to ensure safe and effective use.
Sanitation and CleanlinessMaintain the operating rooms in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education and Experience
A High School Diploma is required, along with a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Medical Assistant Certification or Registration is also preferred, depending on state requirements.
Certifications and SkillsBLS Certification is mandatory, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as superior listening skills, are essential for success in this role.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $$53,000-$63,000, depending on location and experience. Mia Aesthetics offers a comprehensive benefits package, including on-the-job training, professional development opportunities, and opportunities for advancement.
