We are a leading interventional pain management practice with a large footprint across northern Georgia. Our team is dedicated to delivering unrivaled care to our patients, and we are seeking a dynamic nurse to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a licensed and experienced nurse to work as a circulator, pre-operative or post-operative nurse in one of our JCAHO-certified ambulatory surgery centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and revise standard operating procedures in all aspects of center's operations
  • Inform staff regarding important issues pertaining to center's regulatory performance standards
  • Direct day-to-day operations, including developing procedures to maximize productivity and establishing the need to replace or purchase additional medical equipment
  • Work with the administrator to recruit nurses, surgical technicians, and medical assistants to fill vacancies and/or demand
  • Orient and train new employees, direct and monitor workloads according to schedule, and assist with employee annual evaluations
  • Mediate conflict resolution among staff, assure stock inventory is maintained, and resolve patient complaints/direct to appropriate authority
  • Perform as a staff nurse when scheduled, collect information, process, and evaluate information, and make recommendations relative to factors that affect patient demand
  • Assist the administrator with staff meetings, quality assurance system, infection control, keeping SDS book up to date and available to all employees, in-services, implementing new policies, and training on new equipment
  • Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures by all employees
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing strongly preferred
  • Must have current GA State RN license, BLS, ACLS, and other required training
  • Knowledge of equipment, instrumentation, and supplies required to perform specific responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of Eclinical
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong customer service skills, good command of the English language, both verbal and written, and ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level. The employee may be required to work between multiple locations, as needed.
