Job Summary:
A highly skilled Polysomnographic Technologist is sought after to join our esteemed Sleep Center at Jupiter Medical Center. About the Role:
This position involves performing artifact-free polysomnography and related diagnostic tests under the supervision of our experienced Sleep Center Manager. You will be responsible for assisting with the orientation and training of new technologists, analyzing PSG data, and ensuring seamless patient follow-up tasks. Additionally, this role demands critical thinking skills, enabling you to perform independently and supervise other technical staff members.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
  • A license in Respiratory Therapy preferred
  • An American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Providers.
  • The ability to recertify every 5 years by retesting or completing 10 BRPT-approved continuing education credits (CECs) per year averaged over 5 years.
