Nurse Practitioner in Primary Health Care

Job Summary
The Premier Health organization seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. This is a full-time position requiring a master's degree from an accredited NP program and current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a Registered Nurse and one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the supervision of a physician, including taking medical history, assessing medical conditions, and interpreting findings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in conjunction with the patient's physician and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited NP program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- At least five years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- One year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Current State of Ohio licensure required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
