AP Analyst

As an AP Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment. This includes coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system.
This position requires a high level of organizational and task management skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be responsible for partnering with the Controller and accounting team to identify and implement process improvements.
Responsibilities- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, and obtaining approval.
- Process employee expense reports, including verification of receipts and coding.
- Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
- Responsible for monthly accounts payable journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to, including travel and related expenses, vendor approval, and invoice processing.
- Responsible for IRS 1099 compliance and reporting.
- Responsible for imaging and record retention of all accounts payable documents.
- Manage vendor relations and build effective relationships.
- College degree from a four-year college preferred with a background in Accounting related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience with an on-line Accounts Payable ERP application.
- Advanced proficiency with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and task management skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and with a team.
- Orientation to detail, with a specific focus on accuracy.
