Assembly Specialist

As a skilled Assembly Specialist at Fusion, Inc., you will play a vital role in our team of experts who design and manufacture automation solutions for production brazing and soldering.
We are seeking an experienced professional with knowledge of basic assembly, hand brazing, and electrical wiring to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a shop environment and be able to use gauges, measuring equipment, and basic shop equipment such as grinders, drill presses, and sanders.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $55,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSome of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Building new and repairing existing nozzles, guns, testing, and packaging applicators
- Working with sales personnel and customers to analyze needs, run tests, provide cost estimates, and recommend changes
- Assembling and repairing FE71/FE81 parts from work orders, receivers, applicator records, and written and verbal instructions
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts within the applicator department cell and electronic inventory system
- Sizing, drilling, fitting, brazing, shaping, sanding, and testing nozzles using drilling, brazing, and other power tools
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic assembly, hand brazing, and electrical wiring
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a shop environment
- The ability to use gauges, measuring equipment, and basic shop equipment
- The ability to occasionally lift parts weighing up to 30 pounds
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
