About the Role

Auria is seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect to support the Sentinel / Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enforce consistency on the Model-Based implementation of the architecture design.
  • Collaborate with the SE&I team engineers, as well as with Program and Element Systems Engineering teams.
  • Define high-level functional and performance requirements and verification methods.
  • Allocate lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements.
  • Track requirements through design, verification, integration, and operational validation.
  • Support a team of engineers to create, mature and present comprehensive technical charts.
  • Identify required contractual deliverables and non-contractual documentation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with diverse engineering design teams to manage the technical baseline.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0-4 years of experience.
  • Systems Engineer level 1 requires Bachelor's Degree (STEM) and 5 years of related experience.
  • Systems Engineer level 2 requires Bachelor's Degree (STEM) and 10 years of related experience.
  • Systems Engineer level 3 requires Bachelor's Degree (STEM) and 15 years of related experience.
  • US Citizenship and Active DoD Secret clearance, granted or re-investigated within last 6 years with ability to obtain Special Program Access.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture or MagicDraw or other architecture modeling tools.
  • Direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database.
  • Familiarity with Model-Driven Systems Engineering languages (SysML / UML) and concepts.
  • Excellent technical writing skills, and team building skills.
  • Experience with complex system development on large programs.
  • Effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers and customers.
  • Experience with DoDAF and UPDM or UAF Profiles.
