Automotive Emergency Vehicle Upfitter Apprentice

We are seeking an Automotive Installation Technician Apprentice to join our dynamic team at Lehr Auto. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work in a cooperative environment, where you will be trained to transform new factory stock vehicles into highly specialized emergency vehicles.

Salary & Benefits:
- $18-20 per hour depending on experience

Primary Responsibilities:
- Removal of factory interior and exterior equipment and parts
- Installation of specialized parts, including lightbars, sirens, and controllers
- Carefully tracking inventory and workorders
- Participating in shop clean-up and safety duties
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and hand drills
- Physical fitness and exceptional manual dexterity to work under and around vehicles
- Basic knowledge or previous experience of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles preferred
