Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technologist I to join our team at Brigham & Women's Hospital. As a critical member of the patient care team, you will collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a critical member of the patient care team within the department.
  • Collaborate fully with other care team members in assuring continuity of care for patients.
  • Promote a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  • Focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Educated and certified in one of the following ways:
  • Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
  • Graduated with an Associates Degree from an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Graduated with an Associates Degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology certified by the ARRT, and possess a valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in the state of Massachusetts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment preferred; within 6 months required.
  • Minimum three years of interventional experience preferred.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCES) preferred.
  • No documented corrective action over the last year of employment.
  • Experience with precepting new employee(s) on at least one occasion preferred.
