Wireless Firmware Test Engineer

As a Wireless Firmware Test Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative wireless silicon products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, design and develop test infrastructure, and implement continuous integration flows for pre-silicon development and post-silicon validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans and test cases for wireless firmware and products
- Design and develop test infrastructure, including precheck-in, nightly/weekly/release regression test
- Collaborate with FW, Radio, MAC, and Systems engineering teams to ensure stability, reliability, and performance of wireless silicon products
- Work on automation development efforts to characterize state-of-the-art wireless SoC products
- Develop tools to parse and represent data, automate dashboards, and assist the FW and QA team in automation efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in firmware test engineering
- 3+ years of experience in automated test and continuous integration frameworks
- Proficient in scripting and debugging in Python, Perl, TCL, C++, or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
