Nursing Relief Professional

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Relief Professional to join our team at SSM Health DePaul Hospital. As a Nursing Relief Professional, you will assist in performing a variety of nursing care services for patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in performing nursing care tasks, such as taking vital signs, monitoring patient behavior, and completing patient care tasks based on skills deemed competent in nursing school.
- Contribute to overall quality and safe care for patients by answering calls for help, monitoring patient condition, and reporting changes to licensed nurses.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, ambulating, feeding, skin care, and personal hygiene.
- Perform procedures such as dressing changes, enemas, ostomy care, toileting, turning, cough and deep breathing, catheter care, and collection of biological specimens.
- Relay information via charting and communicate with team members to ensure quality care and safety.
- Current enrollment in an accredited school of nursing and completion of first clinical rotation.
- No experience required.
- Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
