Licensed Practical Nurse: Delivering Quality Patient Care

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in our healthcare team, assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering quality care. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and educating patients and their families on health-related topics.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Assist in assessing the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing interventions as directed by the healthcare practitioner.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications according to established protocols, utilizing your knowledge of pharmacy practices and available resources.
- Patient Education: Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families on health-related topics, promoting independence and self-care.
- Clinical Skills: Develop and maintain clinical skills through ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or associate degree in nursing.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse within the state of employment; must also obtain and maintain CPR certification.
- Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year of clinic experience.
