FleetPride is a leading distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Driver Associate to join our team.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Driver Associate will be responsible for delivering products to customers and supporting the warehouse team. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from the warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by the picking ticket.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring the order being delivered is correct and maintaining professionalism in appearance and conduct.
  • Interact with FleetPride customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
  • Load materials into the vehicle by priority and drop-off location.
  • Own a smartphone and be comfortable using electronic handheld devices.
  • Follow company delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency of the delivery run.
  • Install bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Pick up any and all applicable returns and part cores, tagging appropriately and returning them to the branch.
  • Delivery Driver associates are expected to comply with FleetPride appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
  • Determine the delivery vehicle is in an operative condition daily by completing a daily inspection/log. Maintain a clean vehicle and operate the vehicle in a safe manner daily.
  • Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
  • Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
  • Package, label, and ship customer orders by UPS, US Mail, bus, motor freight, and local truck deliveries.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and emptying trash as necessary.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles immediately.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Comfortable using electronic handheld devices.
  • One year of Delivery/warehouse experience.
  • Heavy Duty truck or automotive parts knowledge/experience.
  • Knowledge of local territory.
  • Driver's License required.
  • CDL is not required.

Working Conditions

This is an outside and non-climate regulated warehouse position. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding.

Hours/Shifts

8 hour shifts Monday through Friday and Saturdays.
